This is a Sony disc player. The remote is NOT INCLUDED, however it does turn on, and its physical condition appears fine. The open/close button doesnt appear to function properly. Sonys flagship SACD/CD, 2-channel player, at 55 lbs., the SCD-777ES is only three pounds lighter than the SCD-1. Both are essentially the same sharing the same chassis and identical parts with the exception ofbalanced outs, encapsulation of the transformer and different feet for the SCD-1.Built like a tank, and sounds fantastic. I am the second owner purchasing this unit in early 2000s. This unit is fully functioning and mint, cant find any scratches or blemishes, comes with original remote and box/packing material.Pick up only.
