Sony Integrated Amplifier TA - 535 Vintage amplifier in need of some repair. As can be seen the amplifier is not in good physical condition, with lots of marks to the top case and rusty marks, although the front face is decent and would make an ideal replacement! Also has two missing feet, which could be replaced with aftermarket alternatives. Base seems to be slightly warped. Cord seems to be quite short, not sure if this is original or has been cut down. Amplifier powers on though doesnt seem to produce any sound with any output. Hopefully the deck can be restored and used! Might also be used for spares, all knobs are present! This is a Sony TC-WR535 dual cassette deck. This tape deck works, but not flawlessly. With certain tapes, it will play for the first 10 minutes or so with a muffled, warbling sound. I think it must be something with the motor or the belts. I bought it here on Ebay a few weeks ago, and the seller said the belts were new and the deck played trouble-free, but that is not the case. Im just trying to be honest. The deck plays tapes, but it has issues. I didnt return it because I missed the window of time I had to do so. Cosmetically, the tape deck has no flaws. The first photo is a picture of the actual tape deck, the other two are photos I found on the internet of the same model.
