Tape heads and pinch roller are clean, battery compartment is spotless with no signs of previous corrosion. Tested with a/c lead and batteries and all working well. Complete with a/c power lead. Takes 4 x D-cell batteries (not supplied). There is a little plastic lug missing that locates the aerial when stowed (see photos) but it doesnt affect the performance in any way.
