Italian craftsmanship and sweet sound from Sonus Faber. These Cremonas are in very fine condition. They have been used sparingly in a second audio system in a non-smoking, adult-only home. The string grills are in the excellent condition and never used (except for photos in this listing). Original boxes and packing. I am the original owner. They have been used with McIntosh electronics. They are from a non-smoker house. They sound wonderful for bookshelf speakers. They have the distinctive silky-smooth early Sonus Faber somewhat warm and precise sound. Personally, I love these speakers for jazz, but I also listen to classical and rock music with them. The speakers themselves are in outstanding cosmetic condition. These speakers were personally designed by the late Franco Serblin. Beautiful speakers with distinct sound qualities. The wood cabinets and the drivers are in near- perfect condition. They are on stands. One of the stands is missing the little round piece that screws onto a bolt on the base near the floor. Not sure what happened to that. Otherwise, the stands are in near-perfect condition. The grills for these speakers are designed with strings that came loose over time and need to be re-strung. I dont think it was a good design idea, but that is how SF made these speakers. SF will restring them if it is important to you. I dont even use the grills, but I have them. UPS quotes the following costs: Domestic Shipping, Packaging and Insurance: $400 each. These are the lowest quotes I have been able to find. The speakers will be professionally packaged.
