Up for sale is a beautiful Strathclyde STD 305M turntable with SME 3009 tonearm and Audio Technica AT-105 MM pick-up, great condition, no major marks or scratches, the plinth is beautiful with surfaces all scratch free. Also lid is scratch free, nice condition, some minor scuffs, but considering age it its great. The turntable comes with factory felt mat, the Audio Technica MM pick-up has a fresh 0 km factory stylus in it. Technics SL-110 legendary direct drive turntable, classic design and very beautiful to watch, with SME 3009II Improved tonearm fitted, also fitted with the SME F. D. 200 fluid damper, and re-wired with Cardas AWG33 very fine wire to the cartridge. There isnt a cartridge included. The condition is excellent. I bought this new in 1975 from Berkshire HiFi near Reading. I went there with the intention of buying the new Linn LP12 but they had sold out ! Luckily for me.The Technics was 3 times the price of an LP12 system, so I was dubious until they told me that Robin Ray had bought an identical Technics setup the week before, so... Years later I added the Fluid Damper and re-wired the tonearm.
