It has been sympethically modded by Peter Daniel: 1) it looks to have a newly machined stainless steel VTA collar, which looks very smart. 2) It has been fitted with a RCA converstion screen can kit and comes with a Chord calypso 1m interconnect and 1 silver plated soild core earth cable. It has the domed s2 non improved headshell. Very good overall condition, a minor bit of tarnishing to the black anodised parts, but still a very nice example of this extremely rare tonearm. working and tested. Nice early example of the classic SME 3012 series II tonearm. This example is original boxed has the split counterweight. It comes with the correct extra rider weight, early headshell and fingerlift and original tonearm cable. Its in full working order having just been serviced by Audio Origami of Glasgow. They checked the bearings, refilled the dashpot, cleaned everything up and changed the coupling rubbers on the counterweight stub. The arm is now ready to find a new owner.
