SME 3009/3012 S2 RIDER WEIGHT ROD

Used heavy counterweight (200g) for use with SME 3009 and 3012 tonearms. This is NOT made by SME, but its a high-quality item, made of solid brass and finished in silver. I bought this from Australia about 10 years ago. This item a must-have for those who want to use a high mass cartridge (such as the Ortofon SPU G or SPU G/T) on a 3009 or 3012 Series II tonearm because the original counterweight is not heavy enough to take such high mass cartridges. As said, this is not made by SME, but at a much lower cost, it works equally well, enabling you to use your SME 3009 or 3012 Series II with high mass cartridges. Please see photos for the condition. To keep shipping and handling cost reasonable, this will be sent from Hong Kong by Registered Airmail Packet which provides what the Hong Kong Post Office calls Partial Tracking.
