Any major flaws or condition info will be added HERE: pre-owned, tested and working. Cleaned, stripped and prepared as below. PRE-OWNED; used condition, may have surface defects e.g. wear to case and/or buttons, cracks in case, scratches or discolouration to case or keys due to age and exposure to sunlight. ALL such remotes are tested and even if fully working the remote is disassembled and the case, keypad and associated components thoroughly cleaned using a water based degreaser. Battery terminals are cleaned to remove oxide or corrosion if present. Contact pads under the keypad buttons are cleaned as is the circuit board using a solvent to remove any contamination which may affect long-term use. The remote is then reassembled and tested to ensure full functionality. NOTES ON HYGIENE! If you think the above cleaning process is overkill, just Google remote control germs and youll see what I deal with and you can avoid. Prior to dispatch each remote is again tested and the case sealed with an individually numbered sticker. Sadly, this is necessary as my experience in the repair trade revealed a small minority of customers who would claim the device didnt work but then attempted to get a refund by returning their broken one! This does however allow me to identify remotes Ive sold and swiftly deal with any problems and offer a 30 day return (excluding p & p) if there is a defect and the seal is intact.
