This is a Shure V15VMR with an ed saunders stylus for the v15 type iv. The V15VMR is a legendary cart with a flat frequency response when used with an original stylus. The aftermarket styli dont achieve the same level of flatness, but still perform very well. The jico sas has a pretty decent scoop out between 2k and 10k before the highs peak. this ed saunders stylus doesnt have the dip in the mids and highs so it is a bit flatter sounding in that range. it does have a peak at the end of the spectrum but not to the level of a sas. this stylus will allow you to enjoy the sound of this cart while or if you decide to pursue another option.
