The best I can make out this is not an A or B or A+ system, it is a surround effect system using four speakers, though you can use the main speaker outputs as a 2 channel system with no speakers to the surrounds. If there is something I missed again I am not an expert. I used this for a month plus with no issues. Hows it sound? Using a Panasonic CD player and Canton speakers, and a variety of CDs and DVDs all I can say is WOW! The stereo surround effect is something that has to be heard for it is difficult to try to explain in words. But I enjoyed it for the month I listened to it both on CDs and DVDs and will miss it.
