I recently acquired a very large lot of mostly new old stock, open box condition vintage audio equipment. There are many receivers, turntables, 8 track players, cassette players, speakers, tube kits, radios, ect. All of these items are from Whitney’s estate, a man who had a 1970’s habit of purchasing a great deal of the stuff that he loved. There is so much stuff, that I can’t possibly test every single function of every single unit. I will be thorough in my initial inspection and test for power, switch and pot response, faceplate functionality, and everything else I can test for easily. However I do not have the time to hook up auxiliary components such as speakers, phono inputs, ect. Most of these items are in pristine, unused condition and have not been powered up for nearly 50 years. Please expect that these units will likely need some routine maintenance to be performed. Such as any rubber belts on cassette and 8 track players are likely to be dry rotted and may need replacement, turntables may have dried up grease that will need to be removed and replaced with fresh grease, as well as any other ailments of 50 year old electronics. Due to the overwhelming nature of this estate, I cannot accept returns.
