The unit recognizes CD length and can play and advance forward and back tracks without concern. It pauses and stops as expected. The repeat function works as expected. Audio output is clear as expected. It does not come with a remote. Sometimes the CD gray sticks upon open/close. The player is sensitive to scratches on a CD. It was not tested for CD-R or CD-RW playback. There are some minor scratches but overall this is a clean unit that tested as working. Again, please remember it is sensitive and it is almost 40 years old so it may not always work perfectly. Pricing reflects condition and functionality.
