Tested and working. Plays VHS and DVD, records DVD from video (it may work vice-versa but this was not tested). I have tested the video dubbing with a prerecorded VHS to DVD-R and it worked well. Very easy to copy VHS to DVD - simply insert the VHS and blank DVD-R and then press the blue dubbing button. Press stop on the DVD and after a short time, the DVD is ready. No remote but primary functions are all accessible from the front panel.
