Condition Description Operation/Comments Basic operational tests have been done. FM/AM radio reception was fine. Stereo was also audible. The cassette was also working, including playback and fast forward on both Deck 1 and Deck 2. Without the cassette, rewinding also spun, but when the cassette was inserted, it seemed to slide. Deck 2 was OK for dubbing and radio recording. The volume and other controls were operable, although there was some rattling. The speed seemed to be adjustable, but it was extreme when turned a little. Unfortunately, the sound output on the right side toward the speaker was extremely low, and I could not understand how the balance worked. The meter lighting seemed to be okay, as the indicator part was lit green when it was turned on. We did not try any other minor switches. The exterior has been lightly cleaned, so I think it is somewhat clean. The antennas are extended both left and right, and there are no broken antennas. There are some scuffs on the sides and color bald spots on the corners of the top panel. The woofer also has some stains, but does not appear to have any edge cracks. There is no extreme damage to the saranet or other parts of the cabinet. I dont think there are any noticeable crushed parts. The logo on the saran net has some color baldness. The AC cord is included, although it is not genuine.
