The power does turn on and whn you attach to the stereo, its mainly static. I also have the knob that is broken off that i will send with it. I also have an extra led for the front that i will ship with it. The unit itself is in good condition. I know nothing about this, but I did have a friend test it for me.

For sale is a nice used Pioneer SG-9500 Equalizer with the original wood cabinet. The EQ works great. There are some very light scratches in the wood cabinet. The scratches disappear temporarily when I wipe it with Pledge furniture polish, Ive never used wood oil or anything else so maybe that would be a longer lasting or permanent solution. The metal case also has a few small marks as well. No scratches on the face plate. Other than those minor blemishes the EQ is a beauty. See pictures. The wood cabinet can also be used with other Pioneer models. The unit will ship double boxed with plenty of packing material and marked Fragile.

Beautiful vintage fully working Pioneer SG-9500 equalizer. All potentiometers and switched cleaned with DeoxIt and lubricated with CRC 2-26. light bulb replaced with LED (keeping the original color). I am the second owner of this beautiful Pioneer SG-9500. I bought from an elderly man who bought it overseas while in the military. It has been well cared for in a smoke fee environment and is great cosmetic shape. The unit has been freshly recapped with Nichicon and Panasonic capacitors and the power light has been replaced with an LED bulb. Pioneer SG-9500 10 band equalizer in great condition. There is one knick in the top of the face above the right label. It is visible in the pics. There is a spot of missing finish on the rear of the top case, shown in its own picture. Now for the good parts! All sliders and switches have been cleaned and are quiet and smooth. One slider had a broken handle and has been replaced. The power light has been replaced with new. This unit has been completely recapped. Here, we have a vintage pioneer sg-9500 equalizer in good condition. There are some smaller imperfections on the faceplate. It also has scratches on the top cover. All in all, its in good cosmetic and working condition. New led installed for the power indicator. Its been cleaned with deoxit d-5 and f-5 . Ive had it for about 5 years now and never had a problem. To my knowledge, it is all original, so you may want to recap it for perfection in the sound quality. Because of parts scalpers I do not accept returns. Because of the age of the equalizer, it is sold strictly as is No Returns. I only ship to the lower 48 states . I package everything professionally.
