These speakers are well know among audiophiles and a really great pair of monitors. I used them for several years but after some remodeling I have room for full size floor standing speakers. They sounded wonderful with my tube amps/preamps. Outside of that I dont know much about the history other than Dick Sequerra designed a variety of high end audio equipment over the years. I painted them a nice gloss white. Pretty decent job. They had a fairly dated looking cherry veneer finish which can be seen on the undersides which I did not paint.

Im selling my Day Sequerra FM Studio Tuner in the rare silver face finish. Ive owned this tuner for about 20 years and its been an absolute stunner in my system. I will admit, I have mostly used it with the external scope input when listening to music of all sources. Not only is the silver face rare but the case is in virtually new condition as well with no scratches, dings or even fingerprints on it anywhere. And the anodizing hasnt turned chalky or purple like so many of these do over the years. There is only minor discoloring of the black anodizing on one of the sides, see photos. I had a full service done on it about 15 years ago with a new scope installed and all the button lamps replaced with LEDs. Please look at all the photos carefully. When was the last time you saw a Day Sequerra in this condition? You may be asking, why am I selling such a prized piece of equipment? Because I also have a Day Sequerra FM Reference and I only have 1 system so I thought I could pass this on to another appreciative owner. I have the original double box (another rarity) with all the packing plus the original bound owners manual. What else can I say about it really? This a unique Sequerra subwoofer. It was bought at his estate auction, see photos. There is a volume control but no crossover selection. The sub crosses over/rolls off ending at 120 hrtz. you cant change that, you can only adjust the volume. It sound wonderful as you would expect. I bought it because I collect his equipment. There was a prototype that I built to prove this was viable, and it used, fundamentally, Chinese components because I originally conceived of the product being manufactured in China. But Ive rethought that. Now I think they could be manufactured here, primarily for the gaming market, because the price is academic for those people—and gaming is a business where you can really produce in quantity.it is heavy but canbe shipped.
