JVC S.E.A. 80. The equalization works but it has two issues. 1. The Right Channel Pink Noise lever is stuck in the up position. This isnt great, but if it were stuck in the down position, you would only have Pink Noise in the Right Channel 2. The Left Channel Display Mode Button doesnt stay in, thus you cant monitor whats happening in that channel unless you hold it in with your finger (see photo). These issues cant be fixed without another donor unit, so this is either something you buy to repair, or use as your donor unit. Therefore it is being sold AS IS for Parts or Repair We will not accept returns on this item, so please bid accordingly.

JVC SEA-80 VINTAGE GRAPHIC EQUALIZER S.E.A. + MANUAL - NICE CONDITION - I AM THE ONLY OWNER. PURCHASED IN EARLY 1980s FOR PLAYBACK WITH A GROWING COLLECTION OF LIVE RECORDINGS. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS PLACED IT IN STORAGE, HAVING MADE THE DECISION IT WOULD BE BETTER TO COLLECTION LOWER GENERATIONS INSTEAD OF ATTEMPTING TO EQUALIZE THOSE OF A HIGHER GENERATION. RECENTLY DISCOVERED IT IN STORAGE AND HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH IT BRIEFLY. ALL THE REGULAR FEATURES I PLAYED BACK IN 1980s SEEM TO WORK AS REMEMBERED. HOWEVER, THAT DOES NOT MEANS EVERYTHING WORKS. THE ONE ISSUE THAT STOOD OUT WAS THE SYSTEM SHOWING YOU INDIVIDUAL LIGHTS THAT ARE SEEN IN THE SPECTRUM ANALYZER HARDLY SHOWED. HOWEVER, I NEVER PAID MUCH ATTENTION TO THESE LIGHTS AND INSTEAD MADE REQUIRED ADJUSTMENTS BY EAR. UNDERSTANDABLY SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT FEEL DIFFERENTLY. Offered for sale is a super nice vintage JVC SEA-80 10 Band Graphic Equalizer with Spectrum Analyzer in original box. The unit does power on when connected to the mains. The equalizer is in good cosmetic condition for items age with no dings. It does have some surf face area scratches that arise from normal use and does have some minor loss of paint/ minor rust marks on the top back corner which I have not attempted to clean.
