Pioneer Vintage SE-L40 Stereo Headphones W/original Case Tested 1970-72. Okay, this is just cool- found these rummaging through my Dads old stereo stuff in the house- He picked these up on a return trip from Guam in the early 70s, they are in amazing shape for being over 50 years old now- plugged them into a vintage Sansui receiver and they still have a very good sound- comes in the original hinged fitted Pioneer case- the cord and plug are also in very good condition- I dont remember my dad actually wearing them over all those years so they probably didnt see very much action-Were kept all those years in the same air conditioned home so no temperature extremes- Cool memories to the 70s I lsted some of the specs in the last couple pics- Ships in USA ONLY via USPS priority mail (Comes with standard 1/4 stereo plug at end of cord- you can purchase adapters to convert from this 1/4 stereo plug to a mini or other style)

Pioneer SE-L401 Headphones. Ultra rare. Absolutely mint condition and virtually indistinguishable from new. Not a blemish on them and working perfectly. These are extremely Scarce. Any Hi-Fi aficionados out there that know their stuff will agree with me on the Pioneer range of headphones from the 1970s that more than match modern day stuff that you would be paying at least three times this price for. With the exception of electrostatic headphones such as Stax and a few others of note that will cost you in excess of a couple of Grand or more, then these more than suffice as an alternative to electrostatic headphones. Not much more i can say about them, as they speak for themselves. This particular model comes up very rarely, and even more rare in this condition. If you value and appreciate good music being transmitted to your audio senses, then you will not go far wrong with these. Plus they are extremely comfortable as i think the pics of the leather ear cushions will signify. No plastic rubbish with these legendary headphones. These are every steam-punkers dream. Gorgeous aesthetics, excellent instrument separation, forgiving, comfortable and well built. Price May Seem High But These Are Very Rare But Highly Collectable. Thanks For Looking.
