Sansui AU-317 II Integrated Amplifier In good condition overall but does have some minor marks and could do with a clean up. Its been sat for many years as it was part of my late fathers Hifi setup and its taken a long time to feel comfortable moving it all on. I know he got it new in the early 80s. I dont know anything really about HiFi/amplifiers, but testing it with a Dual CS506 Turntable (for sale separately), it appears all functions are working as they should but the unit isnt 100% happy. It will play a clean sound but sometimes you need to tap the volume knob to get both channels working, and sometimes it will develop a sort of static hum after varying the treble for instance, which goes away when you twiddle the knob or turn it off and again. Feels like dirty contacts or something, but as I say Im not experienced with this sort of equipment. Overall it all works, but maybe just needs disassembling and a good cleaning, I doubt its had much special attention in its 40 year life. Will be packed carefully for postage, alternatively collection is welcome from Redditch, B96 or I may deliver locally for peace of mind.
