When I started testing, the motor seemed sluggish at first and after playing a tape from start to finish seemed to work better. FF ok but not rewind. For the technical minded, it may be an easy fix. SANSUI D-55M Stereo Cassette Deck. This is in really great cosmetic shape, I would say that it’s near flawless visually. But it is not currently in working condition. It powers on and you can hear the motor running, but it does not play, FF, or RW. I am not an expert, so I can’t say 100%, but I am fairly certain that it just needs new belts and then it will be up and running.
