Up for auction is a used Sansui SE-8X 10-band stereo graphic equalizer/spectrum analyzer. Tested prior to listing and all controls work as they should. Three of the slider caps are missing but all the LEDs work though some flicker a bit when sliders are moved. Sprayed all sliders with Deoxit D5. Cosmetic condition of the faceplate is decent but the rest of the unit is a little rough. Offered AS IS. Please check the photos to judge condition. Shipping only within the lower 48 US states. Overall good condition. Scratches on top of front . Can probably be smoothed out and painted if someone wanted to put in the effort. Switches, buttons seem to work fine. I cleaned the potentiometers and sliders but there may be mild scratchiness/static. Power supply recapped a couple of years ago. Spectrum display is nice and bright. Could use a detail as there is dust in the crevices. See pics as they are part of the description. Due to its age there are no guarantees. Will pack carefully. SANSUI SE-8X Stereo Graphic EqualizerUnit is used and in a very rusty condition, the display works perfectly. All inputs work as they should. Only 5 of the 20 slider knobs have the illumination working. One of the slider knobs is missing. I was able to get music to play through the unit but none of the slider knobs adjusted any of the sound. It all sounded like nothing was adjusting at all. Due to its condition, and that the sound couldnt be adjusted it will be sold as-is for parts/repair ONLY. A 10-band graphic equalizer with independent left and right adjustment.A low distortion factor and high SN have been obtained by eliminating the coil, which was considered to be the cause of degradation of SN ratio which greatly influences basic performance as a graphic equalizer, and by adopting a semiconductor inductor circuit.In addition, it is designed with an emphasis on sound quality by carefully selecting the parts used and simplifying the construction.The setting band is divided into 10 bands, each of which can be adjusted by ± 12 db.In addition, the slide volume has a red LED to improve visibility.It is equipped with a spectrum analyzer that allows you to select three patterns : LR simultaneous display, L-channel only, and R-channel only. It displays the volume level for each frequency band in real time and supports sound quality correction.Equipped with a Route 3 input, a volume for adjusting the input level, and an equalizer-REC switch.

Cosmetically in good condition, defects are pointed out in pictures if there are any. All controls have been serviced - see photos.
