The Sansui QSD-1 quadraphonic decoder is the only decoder that utilizes an active crossover - processing the Low, Mid, and High Frequencies on 3 separate modules - resulting in superb, best analog QS separation. Hence, the Sansui QSD-1 is considered the best QS decoder and was an integral part of many recording and broadcasting studios back in the 70s.I was behind the first Quadraphonic audiophile listening event at Cafe Oto London in January 2020. Cosmic Quadraphonic at The Southbank Centre on July 22nd and WOH22. I always use the QSD1 in all events.I own a few units.This one on sale here (Unit at the bottom of the rack in photos 12-14) is in good original condition.
