DVD player VHS player/recorder Sansui VRDVD4001A with original remote & manual. We have been using this unit with a digital-to-analog converter to record TV shows off the air onto VHS tapes. It has been working just fine for years -- both recording and playback. Then just recently we were playing a VHS tape that had been recorded on this machine. We stopped the machine and took a break. When we came back and pressed play on the remote nothing happened -- the tape did not play. The tape is still inside -- it will not play and it will not eject and also will not fast forward nor rewind. DVD player works fine. Its a nice machine, offered for repair or parts
