But, if you depress the tab in the tape compartment, the rewind wheel moves. Since the rewind is not functioning properly, SELLING AS-IS for PARTS, NOT WORKING. This was an estate find and the family stated that the deck hasn’t been used in years. When I started testing, the motor seemed sluggish at first and after playing a tape from start to finish seemed to work better. FF ok but not rewind. For the technical minded, it may be an easy fix. Inside, the tape heads, capstan, and pinch roller look clean & smooth. Hope this helps. SANSUI D-55M Stereo Cassette Deck. This is in really great cosmetic shape, I would say that it’s near flawless visually. But it is not currently in working condition. It powers on and you can hear the motor running, but it does not play, FF, or RW. I am not an expert, so I can’t say 100%, but I am fairly certain that it just needs new belts and then it will be up and running.

I cant tell of the capstans turn or not, but I think not. The case is dirty but does not have any dents or visible damage.

NOS Sansui QD-550 turntable mat. Measures approx 3 3/8 inches across. Comes with its original factory shipping packing slip. (we do not have any other Sansui parts in our inventory.) Safely and securely packed. Please note, we ship once a week, that (usually) being on Fridays or Saturdays.

Sansui D-550WR service manual. This is a factory released original manual, not a copy In good condition. We include a stiff cardboard insert and put a Please Do Not Bend sticker on the envelope to help preserve the integrity of the manual. U.S.A & Canada, please allow one week or so for delivery. UK & Europe, please allow 2-4 weeks or so for for delivery. For all other International destinations, please allow 4-6 weeks for or so for delivery.

In full working order apart from the rewind struggles towards the end of the cassette. Comes with original manual. Some marks to case as seen in photo but not bad considering its age. Prefer cash on collection but can package up and prepare for a courier collection if buyer wants to arrange one.

Optischer Zustand für solches Alter sehr gut und gepflegt erhalten, nur paar geringe Gebrauchsspuren am Holzgehäuse vorhanden!! Bitte Bilder ansehen!!
