VERY RARE !!! Here you have chance to buy complete output stage of one channel for Sansui amplifier AU-X1. So, you will get aluminum heat sink, three pairs of very rare special output power transistors 2SA1068N 2SC2493N with TO3 sockets and emitter resistors and complete driver board F-2775. I tested by my semiconductor tester output transistors, driver transistors and BIAS transistor, and they are all good. I also did checking of emitter resistors and they are good too! But I didn’t I do any other tests, so I am selling that output stage as used and untested. Also, I changed the thermal grease on the output transistors.As you can see on pictures, output stage is complete and undamaged. Please look carefully at high resolution pictures, because they are part of description.Installation should be done by qualified technician only, because it is not simple to do that! The Sansui AU-X111 MOS Vintage, released in Japan in 1985, is a “master quality” integrated amplifier with an exceptional reputation. It offers a rated output power of 110W + 110W (8 Ohms) with total harmonic distortion (THD) of <0.008%. Clocking in at 35.1 kg (78 lb), this thing is built like a tank, but to a high degree of precision. The amp circuits is of the highest quality , featuring 16 MOS FETs (!) In the diamond power stage, 4 apiece for the positive and negative sides of the left and right channels. Sansui is known to pursue improvement of the electronic signal characteristics via materials engineering. For example, by the use of pure copper and demagnetized bonding wire, the signal cutoff frequency is improved, and the signal bandwidth is widened. This is a top-of-the-line amp, and everything about this amp spells quality, with its precise, thoughtful construction and handsome appearance, featuring real rosewood paneling. These fantastic vintage Sansui amps are rather rare, so dont miss this one in very good condition!This unit is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use, including some scratches and scuffs as a whole (please see photos). I won this amplifier in an auction and the company that shipped it did didn’t do a good packaging job, leading to damaged front glass. I taped it up to keep the pieces in place, but it’s going to need a new piece of glass or acrylic. I can briefly get sound to play, but I think the volume switch is damaged, causing the amp to go into protection at the slightest move of the switch (or even sometimes w/o obvious movement). For someone who has the time to replace the glass this could be a great deal, or maybe a parts machine. Let me know if you have any questions!
