Have listed as for parts but does work, needs a fair bit of tlc, firstly obviously the lid is in a sorry state, i rubbed the worst of it down but needs a bit more time on it and repainted, the switches were also quite badly pitted so these were painted with silver hammerite, looks ok but not perfect. The power switch tip wasnt making contact well so just removed and used a pen lid to turn on and off, switch is still there and could be put back in place easily enough with something glued to the back of it to make better contact with internal switch. Ive also lost the lid side fixing screws which im hunting through boxes of bits for but assume theyre not included if i cant find them. Facia is pretty clean with a few small marks on it. On the plus side it sounds fabulous as all these early sansuis do and has two very nice sounding phono inputs.

Selling my unmolested Sansui AU-555A in perfect working order and in fantastic condition. The photographs were taken with a flash on my mobile phone under bright lights thats why every speck of dust is visible. There are no dings or marks anywhere on the amplifier (the bright lights are reflecting off the black fascia). The factory fitted blue protective plastic strips are still attached to the front/side aluminium ends and have never been removed.
