It Is Pristine Inside And Out. It Has Been Handed On From A Deceased Relative Who We Are Told Was Obsessive With His Hi-Fi And Very Likely Serviced The Unit From Time To Time.It has been tested via the Auxiliary inputs at line level through the Headphone jack and has a lovely rich deep English tone with lovely open midrange which would work particularly well with classical music. Very laid back, clean and valve like presentation. There is no discernible noise when operating the potentiometers and very silent background allowing the music to flood through. All controls tested and work perfectly. Even the casing screws are still shiny black with none of the usual rust, and the veneered sides have no chips or damage as seen in almost every one that comes up on eBay. The inside is clean and fresh like a new amplifier. Original Illustration card (laminated) included.IMPORTANT NOTE: The unit is wired for 240V UK Mains Supply. The mains lead has a Bakelite 2 piece connector which was popular at that time when purchased. It is STRONGLY recommended that the mains lead is either directly replaced or modded with a modern IEC Outlet at the rear. If you are not electronically trained, we recommend you have this done by a suitably qualified electrician.A rare opportunity to enjoy this extremely well built and stunning looking vintage classic in glorious full working order. The Amplifier will be Professionally packaged for worldwide shipping and will be sent fully insured for loss/damage for your peace of mind. Fully guaranteed. Overseas buyers please message us for a fully tailored quotation.Any Questions Please Ask! Collection Welcome. We offer a full No Quibble Return, Swap or Refund and we are here to help. In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, cassettes and CDs. Anyone buying or selling records through the magazine must use our conditions to state what amount of wear and tear the disc, its sleeve and/or contents have been subject to. The seven standard condition categories, and a description of what each one means, are listed below: MINT (M) : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
