Letzteres ist nicht so schlimm, da ich den Player mit Hilfe von Rockbox so konfiguriert habe, dass er komplett per Sprachausgabe bedienbar ist, d.h. ohne auf das Display sehen zu müssen. Dies funktionert für Menueeinträge, Verzeichnisse und Dateien.Für Verzeichnisse/Dateien kann man sogenannte talk Files erzeugen lassen, so dass sie wirklich gesprochen werden. Ansonsten werden sie buchstabiert. Sowohl Deutsch als auch Englisch ist möglich. Ich habe den Player bisher abends zum Einschlafen genutzt, um z.B. Podcasts oder Hörbücher zu hören.Dabei ist sogar ganz angenehm, wenn das Display nicht hell aufleuchtet. Der Player lässt sich über die Tasten auch im Dunkeln gut bedienen.Ich habe noch einen weiteren Sandisk Player mit defektem Display, deswegen verkaufe ich jetzt diesen hier.
