SAE Power Amplifier P10 This is selling AS IS, for parts or not working. I cannot test it. I believe the plug on it is maybe european?? I do not know if it works or not unfortunately. It was an estate find. The power button doesnt seem to be working correctly. Other than that is physically looks as you would expect for a used amp. couple of marks and scratches, nothing major. SAE Mark IVCM Stereo Power Amp. Big old school style stereo power amp with two large VU meters on the front panel. 100 watts/ch into 8 ohm. Note that this amp do not have an On/Off switch. In normal use the switching is done through the preamp. 240VAC local voltage. I dont know much about this other than what I found above. It does power up. The left screen does light up. Right side does not. I dont have any way to test it. Maybe it works fine maybe it doesnt. It was working the last time it was used. It has been in storage for a few years now. Overall cosmetically the item is in excellent shape.

I believe this came from a repair shop, I noticed some of the screws were loose and the R channel did not work. Problem was one of the PCB standoffs was shorting a trace and preventing the R channel from operating, the close tolerance of this standoff to the trace makes me think this may be an inherent problem waiting to happen with these amps. I reduced the dia of the standoff where it contacts the PCB and the amplifier works fine. Rated at 200w/ch into 8 ohms it puts out considerably more power even before it reaches 0.1% THD. DC offset was trimmed to the several millivolt range in both channels but otherwise I did nothing else to the amp. Sold ASIS, it sounds fine and on par with other more expensive amps I own however its getting old and I strongly suggest a total electrolytic capacitor upgrade. I noticed complete capacitor upgrade kits for sale and this would be a wise decision to avoid future problems. Issues I see are the speaker B LED does not illuminate when the button is pushed but the switch does function and switched speaker B relay just fine. Also some scratches with one long one on the front face as shown in the photos, I took a Q-tip with some cleaner to highlight part of the scratch since it didnt show up on my I-phone screen when I took the photos but it is easily visible on the computer screen. There may (or may not) be other issues I didnt notice in my testing. Shipping will be high, will be packaged in 25x21x12 box weighing about 48 lbs. Will need 2 business days to package and transport to FedEx terminal, so it wont go out the next day! Shipping ONLY to USA. IMPORTANT: Sold ASIS as in for parts/repair without warranty! I do this to avoid frivolous claims and returns of modified/user damaged goods, too bad there are some dishonest people who require me to take this route.
