Yamaha RX-V2400 Audio/Video 7.1 Home Theater Receiver For sale is a Yamaha RX-V2400 AV Receiver. I am the original owner and purchased new in 2004. I have used it until just recently, and have never had any issues with it. Cosmetically, both the receiver and the remote look virtually unused and it has always been in a smoke free home (see pictures). The receiver is a 7.1 channel receiver rated for 120 Watts per channel with the option to connect (2) additional presence speakers (though only 7 channels are able to be driven at one time without external amplication). The receiver has a multitude of inputs and outputs for all formats except DVI and HDMI. The front speakers have both an A and B input, and can be Bi-amped. There are options for sending sound and video to additional zones. The receiver is very customizable, and has a variety of different sound fields for surround options, as well as all the Dolby Digital and DTS surround field decoding that was available at the time the unit was manufactured (including THX and DTS 96/24). The remote also has many options, and can be programmed to control other equipment. Included with the receiver are the original remote, the original FM and AM antennas, original instructions manual, power cord and the YPAO setup microphone. All items will be shipped in the original box. I no longer have the styrofoam inserts, but the receiver will be bubble wrapped and well packaged.
