Original deck very nice sound condition no damage to the outside shell other than normal use —plugged it in it has power. The left side deck opens. It does not play the right side deck when I hit the eject button -just hear the motor running. It does not open. No other tasks have been made on this unit —selling as is as found for parts or repair only —NO RETURNS—we do not have the remote we do not have the manual we do not have the box. Technics Stereo Double Cassette Deck with Auto Reverse (RS-TR575) When I bought this cassette deck in 1996 it was one of the top-rated decks at Consumer Reports magazine. I bought it for the purpose of recording vintage radio programs from a local AM radio station that broadcast such programs for an hour each weeknight, and then mailing the cassettes to my father. I never got a chance to do that. After I bought the deck, the local radio station was acquired, the format was changed, and they were no longer broadcasting vintage radio programs. So, this deck was barely used and, as a result, is in great condition. I think I used it for about 30 minutes and that was the end of its use. It has followed me around in its original packaging since then, always in storage in the back of a closet. I checked both cassette bays, and all the switches work fine. The original owner’s manual is included along with the original power cord and connection cables. A requirement of purchasing this item is that you must live within the continental U.S.A.
