SHARP OPTONICA RP-5100H STEREO TURNTABLE VINTAGE HI-FI - DESCRIPTION This recently came from a friend who does house clearance and was clearly from an avid music collector. It came with some very nice speakers and Amp (which I am keeping) and about 500 cd’s (all classical) and a cd multi changer - which I declined. I have tried to connect this to the Amp but upon researching it I need a earth point (which the amp doesn’t have) and a pre-amp (which I also do t have) It lights up and turns and spins and you can hear it playing through the speakers (albeit extremely quietly) . However the play button and the track selector didn’t seem to work when I tested it with a LP) - but that maybe as no earth / pre-amp but I don’t really know as this isn’t my area. The turntable is therefore sold as spare or repairs and is collection only. I am located 5 mins from j13 M5 (Stroud) I am very open to offers and will likely list later today 99p no reserve so grab a bargain first !
