Royd Audio Coniston Series 2 bookshelf loudspeakers. For sale in Dublin, Ireland. Pair of vintage (mid 80s) Royd Audio speakers, model Coniston, Series 2. Lovely sound quality from a highly regarded UK based speaker manufacturer. Speakers themselves are in really good condition, with small amount of wear on the bottom of the front grill on one of the pair. Includes the original box and packaging to protect them during shipment, as well as a pair of decent quality speaker cables.

Royd The Sorceror classic British-made loudspeakers in very good condition I have a pair of walnut Royd Sorcerors for sale. I bought these from a gentleman called Peter at The Studio in north London - in 2003! He had taken them back from a customer in p/e. Some time around 2011 I moved them out of my system to be replaced with a pair of Royd RR2s. I packed them up carefully with the intention of selling but could never quite bring myself to do it. Anyway, some years later here we are. They are in very good condition, with just one noticeable dink to a back edge (<1cm long), as per photo, and are working perfectly. They have had very light use for their age. There are spike holes and marks to the bottoms, of course. If you know the brand you will know that these are highly-regarded loudspeakers - and they sound fantastic. The product info below is from a site maintained by Royd fans.Im in north London (N5) and am listing these as collection only as I dont feel entirely comfortable about packing them up well enough to ship by courier. Plus they are heavy. I do not have (and never had) the original packaging. However, I am open to releasing them to a courier arranged by the buyer and would beef up the existing home-made polystyrene-lined box (pictured) with a second box and share photos. A fantastic pair of Royd Doublet speakers. Floor standing speakers with legendary sound quality. Work beautifully in a Naim HI FI system but work equally well with LINN components or any high quality partnering equipment. The speakers are Fully Operational. In Good condition.. A few blemishes commensurate with age as shown in the pictures.. However ALL the drivers work perfectly. Reluctant sale due to a recent upgrade. These were bought by my late father-in-law in the early 80s, along with a Rega planar 3 record deck and a creek CAS 4040 amp. Used to play classical an opera pretty much exclusively (and one MeatLoaf album) The foams were removed and are damaged as per the images. Please see the video for these working. I am not an audiophile and cannot tell you if the sound good or bad or whatever. Sorry. They’re in good condition. No major scratches, dents, dinks or stains.
