Vintage Rotel Ra-1412 Stereo Amplifier complete with original instruction manual and a printed copy of the technical manual. Listed for parts not working due to when testing the left channel heat sink to the rear of the amplifier gets noticeably hotter than the right hand side,also some of the switches are noisey with static when operated. I suspect the output transistors on the left channel will most definitely need testing and replacing where necessary. Even with the left channel running hot the amplifier sounds absolutely superb. Very heavy well made amplifier weighing in at 22kg! Produces a staggering 110w per channel. In fantastic cosmetic condition with only a few age related marks,mainly a couple of small blemishes to the fascia. Can be viewed/collected from ne16 gateshead area or posted via ups. Rotel CD14 Mk11 Cd player in black. I was going to buy a new one of these 6 weeks ago but noticed this one advertised on eBay with just 3 hours use so purchased it for £325, I think the 3 hours use was true as the sound has opened up and improved since Ive had it. It has a hum coming from within the player, it doesnt come out of the speakers. A friend has told me (no idea if hes correct) that its just the power supply and nothing to worry about and it wont affect the performance, which it doesnt as it sounds excellent, but for some reason it irritates me even though its not very loud. I sit about 4 feet away and can just about hear it in total silence. I used the box for something else so collection only by you in person, please do not purchase it and then ask me to box it up for a courier you are sending, which has happened to me before. Also, by collecting in person you can listen to the hum and if youre not happy with it we can ask eBay to cancel the transaction.
