This is a pre-amp/processor, not a receiver. A separate amplifier is required!! I did not receive a remote with this. A remote is required to navigate the setup menu. I used a Hamony 880 universal remote with it. I also do not have the factory box it came in. I will take it to a local shipping store for packing/shipping. Awesome surround sound preamp. works great. but i just dont use it. watched a total of 3 movies with it and the family doesnt seem to have any interest so it is up for sale! It is built with a modular construction to facilitate upgrades of key internal circuit boards, and is software updateable over the Internet or via a simple USB download if a network connection is not available. The RSP-1582 is a home theater preamplifier/processor, of course, but first and foremost, it truly shines as an audio component. This unit was used only a handful of times before being placed in storage. Unfortunately, that is where it received Some of the “ not easily noticeable, but definitely there” scratches on the exterior. Fortunately, most of it is on the side and while there are a few in the front area, they are difficult to see from normal viewing distance. You have to lean in and catch the right light angle to see them, and from the standard distance of you showing it off to your friends it looks play gorgeous. When we received the unit, it did not come with the original box, manual, remote or accessories. But, we were able to come up with some solutions that we know the buyer will like. We downloaded the Manual in PDF which we will send to the buyer immediately after sale. We also tracked down three additional downloads for higher-level programming and reference specs . We included the power cord, three HDMI cables, USB-A to USB-B 2.0 , USB-C TO USB-A , serial to ethernet, serial to audio jack, RCA plugs, additional audio cables, and two antennas.
