Beautiful sounding pre-amplifier in excellent condition with some fine scratches on its cover. Check the rave reviews for this device on the net. This is a respected pre-amp so I dont need to blow its trumpet. I am an electronic engineer that regularly repairs and restores vintage HIFI. This is from my own personal HiFi collection. The amplifier has been hardly used during my possession. This is because I am more of a Sansui sound fan but each to there own. Rotel Control Amplifier (Preamp), Model RC 971- Used in fair condition.. It has been quite awhile since this was used but it produced sound when it was. I am unsure about whether the tone controls are working because I was unable to hear much of a difference when using them. Ive read good review of this model but to be honest I wasnt that impressed. However that may be because this unit needs cleaning, refurbishing, etc. In light of that Im selling this unit as is with not returns. Ive discounted starting bid (based on what eBay suggested) to reflect the as is condition.
