NEW LOWER PRICE************************* Upgrading Your Entry into High End Preamplifier Performance The heart of an uncompromising audiophile stereo ?separates? system is the preamplifier. Separate components hold the promise of the best possible fidelity, since each device is optimized for its role in the sound reproduction chain. The RC-1572 MkII stereo preamplifier combines proven analog design with sophisticated digital circuits to bring all of your sources to life with amazing fidelity. The new version upgrades the entryway into higher performing separate components and includes all of the analog and digital inputs required by todays music sources. A new DAC and new features upgrade the RC-1572 to MkII excellence. The new Texas Instruments DAC works with the rear panel PC-USB 32-bit / 384kHz input to support MQA and MQA Studio. The MkII is Certified Roon Tested, too. Leverages Flagship Rotel Technology The RC-1572 MkII leverages the design of Rotels flagship RC-1590 preamplifier, including its 32-bit / 768 kHz AKM stereo digital-to-analog converter to handle critical signal conversion. Among many refinements, the RC-1572 MkII utilizes relay switching for analog sources instead of an IC based switch to maintain the integrity of the signal path for RCA, phono, and XLR inputs. Beneath the clean lines and user-friendly fascia of the RC-1572 MkII lie highly sophisticated engineering. Both analog and digital sources have been given equal consideration, since today?s listener often has several digital sources but may also enjoy legacy formats like vinyl records. Highly Regulated Power Supply The RC-1572 MkII is a full featured, high performance component. All aspects of the design have been optimized to retain the full dynamic range and subtle nuances of your music. The RC-1572 MkII has a highly regulated power supply incorporating a Rotel custom-designed toroidal power transformer and custom-made slit foil capacitors. This low impedance power supply has ample power reserves, which enables the RC-1572 MkII to easily reproduce the most demanding audio signals. It ensures stable current and voltage requirements to all stages under dynamic conditions. This type of design is more expensive to manufacture, but it is better for the music. Premium Components and Circuit Boards Premium circuit components are used throughout the construction of the RC-1572 MkII. These have been selected only after extensive listening evaluations. Careful routing of all low level signals has been practiced to ensure impressive signal to noise levels. The result is effortless musical dynamics, impressive detail and scale. The printed circuit boards (PCB) are designed with Symmetrical Circuit Traces. This ensures that the precise timing of the music is maintained and faithfully recreated. The RC-1572 MkII circuitry uses metal film resistors and polystyrene or polypropylene capacitors in important signal paths. All aspects of this design have been examined to ensure the most faithful music reproduction. A Full Complement of Digital and Analog Connections The RC-1572 MkII is extremely flexible and accommodating. Four digital inputs (two coax and two optical) handle digital sources up to 32-bit / 384 kHz resolution and offer stunning playback from TV set-top boxes, TVs, or Blu-ray players, and more. The rear panel PC-USB 32-bit / 384kHz input supports MQA and MQA Studio. Importantly, it is possible to fix the level and set an auto-on option with digital inputs for use with devices that provide their own volume control for convenient ?hands-off? use. Integrated Bluetooth aptX is provided. Analog inputs include balanced XLR connectors, perfect for connecting the RC-1572 MkII via its XLR outputs, in addition to four pair of conventional RCA inputs. XLR and single ended outputs are provided along with a mono subwoofer output. Built-in MM Phono Stage If you already have a sizeable LP collection or you are just getting into the pleasures of listening to vinyl records, the RC-1572 MkII is perfect for you. A moving magnet phono stage rounds out the source capability, allowing you to plug your turntable directly into this preamp without the need for an outboard phono stage. Other Connections Two 12-volt triggers to control on/off operation of an amplifier and/or other components. For custom integration, control options include RS232 on a standard DB9 connector, as well as an Ethernet port for IP control and software updates. In short, the RC-1572 MkII is a tremendous value and the perfect upgrade for owners of older analog-only preamplifiers. Item # 440C15722S The MkII retains the best parts of the original RC-1572, adding a new DAC and compatibility with high-res MQA files. PLEASE THE REVIEWS ON THE ROTEL AND OURS PLEASE!SYSTEM INFO. AFTER REVIEWS. THIS IS A ONE OWNER UNIT AND WOULD PLACE THIS ROTEL UP AGAINST PRE-AMPCOSTING 4 TO 5 TIMES RETAIL ON THIS BEAUTIFUL UNIT. JUST WOW!! Nice upgrade SEE VIDEO @ CRUCHFEILD VIDEO THIS MODEL # Dale from Billings, MO on 1/3/2023 Verified customer (Whats this?) Nice upgrade to a aging system. Nice features and great sound. I am running this through a aging Carver 200 W/RMS Amp to a pair of B&W 702 speakers and. SVS SB 3000 sub. Great balance and excellent tone quality. A pleaser to listen too. Pros: Warm clean sound, allows more output from my amp to fill the house with great music. Was this helpful? Preamp for use with a power amplifier Bobby from Franklin, MA on 12/12/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) Paired with Rotel RB-1582 MKII amplifier. A great match! Have always wanted separates to run a 2 channel music system after having numerous integrated amps and AVRs over the years. Using the 2 optical inputs to use the built-in Texas Instrument DAC for CD player (shows running at 44.1 kHz) and Bluesound Node. Streaming shows as high as 192 kHz so far on High Resolution cuts from Amazon music service. Love that the display shows the quality of the signal. Connected to the amp using XLR cables for a balanced connection. RCA plugs running from the TV to the AUX input. Has additional inputs for phono etc. Including XLR for a balanced input from one device and bluetooth. Have only been using for a few days and the sound is amazing through my B&W 702 S2 speakers. Hearing sounds Ive never heard on songs Ive listened to for years. For example, the brushes Ringo plays on When Im 64 on Sgt. Peppers streamed at 96kHz according to the display on the front panel. Hear what the music is delivering - highs, midrange and lows on the 3 way speakers. The remote works great. Controls the inputs and sound volume including a mute button for when you need to halt the music to take a call. Like that the volume control displays from minimum and then from 1-100 instead of in dbs like my Denon AVR does. You have the option of setting the volume levels for each input and can adjust the tone control too but I dont adjust the treble and bass. Would recommend. Peace, love & music! Pros: Great preamp to pair with a Rotel power amplifier. Has all the inputs needed, XLR, optical, digital cable (not a grooved input like from cable TV) and RCA plug inputs. Can connect a device using Bluetooth. Display shows the quality of the signal from any selected input. Volume control displays from 1-100 so 50 is half-volume. Remote is easy to use and has all the control you need to switch between inputs and control the volume without using the controls on the unit. Great for 2 channels. Cons: Works for me since I use a Bluesound Node for streaming and my high resolution music sounds great using one of the two optical inputs to connect the Node to the preamp. Price but have learned that high quality sound and equipment comes at a high price. Was this helpful? A great sounding unit Crutchfield customer from HAW RIVER, NC on 12/10/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) A suburb unit. I have it paired to a ModWright amp, Harbeth speakers and a REL subwoofer. The sound is excellent. The highs are crisp and clean. The REL handles the thunder. Depending on the source it can sounds holophonic. A very good buy. I highly recommend it. Pros: All at your fingertips on the remote. The blue backlights. Cons: None Was this helpful? Rotel RC-1572 MKII Christopher from Roanoke, VA on 9/20/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) Very happy with this preamp. Has all the input connections that I need. Display is easy to read and also shows bit and sample rates of tracks streamed from Tidal and Qobuz. Remote control is ok, I just use it for volume control and power. I have it paired with the Rotel 1552 mkII amp. First time buying separates in audio gear, and it sounds great! However...I would recommend matching up your entire set up with Rotel components for best results...... Pros: love having the remote control for easy changes as well as mute option for higher level volumes when changing albums. Was this helpful? David from Litchfield Park, AZ on 5/10/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) I paired this up with my old school McIntosh amp and other Rotel products (tuner, cd) and Klipsch high end reference speakers. I was not disappointed. The sound is amazing. The ease of functionality and option on this pre amp makes it a winner! Rotel does it again! Pros: Function and form. Cons: None Was this helpful? Tons of detail Thomas from Portland, MI on 3/27/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) If you are going to enjoy this preamp depends entirely on if you fall on the side of clinical, sterile, and super detailed or warm, lush, and lacking some resolution. This thing is detail, detail, and more detail at the cost of being super clinical sounding with little if any warmth. Ive never felt so disconnected from music. I personally sent it back and went back to a DBX pre from the late 80s while i attempt to find a balanced pre with tubes. Pros: Resolution and tons of detail. Cons: N/A Was this helpful? Top notch Steven from Renton, WA on 2/13/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) Highly capable unit. Auto volume feature a plus. Every option selectable from remote. Same top quality as my other Rotel products. Money well spent. Was this helpful? Manchester David from Manchester, MD on 1/27/2022 Verified customer (Whats this?) I wanted to give this time to break in. I purchased this at the end of August, beginning of September 2021. I have this paired with the RB-MKII amp, Bluesound Node via USB (now) straight to the DAC on the preamp. All I can say is WOW!! People on here stating a lack of low end, I do not agree at all. Perhaps their speakers lack it or the amp they are using is subpar or perhaps cheap cabling?. This is a beautiful amazingly built high quality piece of hifi. I have had this paired with SVS Prime Towers, KLH Kendalls, and Polk ES60 Speakers and the sound that this preamp produces is nothing short of spectacular. Im using balanced outputs and some pretty nice cables on all outputs, as well as playing directly from my computer via a Ifi Zen Dac v2 to aux input. Any source I play from sounds beautiful. Im a newly adopted audiophile and come from a line of owning a Sansui G7000 Beast receiver, Marantz 2230 (baby) as well as a Pioneer SX3800. The sounds out of my Rotel gear are clean, crisp, tightly packed with a nice warmth across all genres of music. I am so happy that I chose Rotel. The build quality is top notch. This is definitely not something you will find in a chain box store. This is high quality hifi. You cannot go wrong with Rotel. Thank you . Pros: Hi quality sound, Build quality. Top notch!
