While the condition of these are nearly identical, the one you happen to be looking at is the bottom one in the picture. These blocks are in excellent condition given their age both cosmetically and sonically – they hale from the 1980’s and so are by definition vintage but have fared very well, the odd little mark but nothing at all to worry about. I have not found a finer example of these anywhere and the innards were recently overhauled by Peter Ellison at Audio T in Cardiff and are in now in perfect sonic shape. All LEDs burn bright and the lettering is still all intact front and back. These aren’t mint, but they are not far off. These amps are physically massive – 9 kg each – and sonically biblical. Partnered with the native RC-850 and in bridged mono set up the sound is truly epic – the only limit is the speakers you partner these with. No original packaging so if you’re in striking distance of Newport in South Wales I’ll gladly meet you half way for petrol, but I will package well and send if preferred.
