Wow, matejust wow really! pure genius buddy, my deck is being unhelpful inbalance but I am running Tidal on FLAC, oh the joy! what a unit andcredit to your insight and ears! THANKS SO MUCH.... BillyHi Per, Im absolutely delighted with my purchase. What a remarkable piece of audio engineering. The amp sounds wonderful with my Rogers 149 speakers. I have dozens of similar WOW responses from my customers, here is one of the latest: Hi Per,Thank you for the excellent work that you recently carried out. I wanted to give it a good workout before reporting back to you.I knew from what you have said and the talk in the forums that I could expect better bass and more power, but that description only scratches the surface. The amp has phenomenal grip - it doesn’t let go of any of the threads of the music no matter how complex, or loud, or quiet it becomes. There is a sense of scale and of power in reserve. Subtle details that I was previously unaware of or couldn’t hear properly are easily discernible and there is air and depth around the instruments, not all squashed in a line, shoulder to shoulder. There is shape to the sound. I swapped out my Heed Elixir, which I’m very fond of, from another system and replaced it with the RA-810A. There really isn’t much to choose between them, bearing in mind that the other components and the room itself play a significant part in the performance. The Rotel plays what it is fed without adding artificial flavours - it gets out of the way yet still has astonishing control. The Heed Elixir is around £1,500. The total cost of the Rotel to me is just shy of £240, which includes the original purchase, all of your work and even postage. Disconcertingly I think it pulls ahead of the Elixir with its levels of detail and separation. I doubt I could do better without spending over 2k, and I won’t be doing that. Perhaps the best compliment that I can pay you and the amplifier is that the noises in my head telling me that I might do better by buying this amp or that amp have ceased. My eBay watch list is now empty, I’ve stopped reading and watching endless reviews and the only thing I consider spending money on is more music, but not before I rediscover the hundreds of albums that I already own.Regards,David If you share my passion for true music reproduction and listening pleasure - this is your chance of getting an outstanding example of a limited edition of AngelP Signature Rotel amps at a token price. It doesnt matter if it is working or not, but it should be in reasonable cosmetic condition to be worth the effort. Note:In honesty, I should add that many of my amps are now sold by word of mouth - so if anyone turns up with the cash and picks it up, I will of course have to pull this amp from the listing.
