It uses the same RoseConnect software and does the same things. OK Im a sucker for the newest thing. The 150B is the latest model and has it all in one. You also can add an outboard DAC, if you wish. I have a projection TV and the Rose works perfectly for me as the 150B plays what shows on its display on the projection TV in 4k video. I find that really nice as otherwise Id have to get up and turn around to see whats playing. Also, I didnt think I would like it but Rose has the ability to play YouTube music videos and it has turned out that I really like that feature.
