Welcome to the sale for my lovely Kandy MkIII CD player from highly regarded British Hi-Fi brand ROKSAN. This CD player sounds excellent and is in full working condition. It is made in England and has excellent reviews in the forums and Hi Fi press. It comes with the original remote control, instruction manual and original box. Everything is in great condition. This CD player retailed for £650 when new and is still a good performer now. The sound is terrific and it has Roksans signature warmth that avoids the clinical sharpness of many other brands in its playback. The build quality is excellent and it is very sturdy and solidly built. It is in excellent condition with no major marks on the panels, as you will see from the pictures. It really is very clean and presents very well. I have enjoyed using it and am a big fan of Roksan products, having owned a variety of CD players, amplifiers, etc. The remote (as pictured) is a full function remote that can operate both the MkIII CD player and also the Mk III Liii Amplifier (not incl.) if you have one. Outputs: The Analogue Output (1) uses Gold plated RCA Phono sockets and for connection to the CD or LINE input of your Preamplifier or Amplifier. The Digital Outputs: (2) use a Gold plated RCA Phono socket for Coaxial SPDIF and Toslink for Optical and XLR for Balanced AES/EBU output. Any of these could be connected to a corresponding input of an amplifier with a digital input, or to an outboard Digital to Analogue converter (DAC). This listing is for a compatible generic (aftermarket) remote control that is coded to operate the Roksan kandy KC-1 & KD-1 Mk3 CD players.Note the 6 button black remote control is what you will receive- the original Roksan remote is pictured solely so you can choose (if desired, SEE BELOW***) which 6 functions you want programming to the generic remote.This remote will operate: Play/pause, Stop, track skip up, track skip down, track search forward and track search reverse. Hopefully this will help owners of the superb Roksan Kandy KD1/KC1 if their remote has been lost/broken as they are sadly no longer available from Roksan, and the One for all universal remotes dont have the correct codes... The amp is the original and more desirable K2 with a decent Phono Stage and not the BT version.I have included some Audioquest Ruby Interconnects and one of the remote controls is fully working which operates both units. Clean machine. I have powered up to confirm the remote is working. The disk is found and reads. I dont have enough kit to test completely but have no reason to think it doesnt work.

THE UNIT IS PLAYING THE CD STUCK INSIDE THE UNIT SO THE PLAYBACK FUNCTION APPEARS TO WORK FINE. THE ISSUE APPEARS ISOLATED TO THE TRAY MECHANISM ITSELF. COSMETICALLY SOME RUBS / MARKS / SIGNS OF USE.
