For sale is a pair of vintage, one of the best sounding Rogers LS3/5A BBC Monitor Speakers, 15-Ohm, Early Black-Badge, Genuine, Matched A/B Pair These are early black-badge, right after the famed gold-badge. All drivers are original and in excellent condition. I opened one speaker and show the internal parts. As shown in some posted pictures, they are all original. Date of production is January 9, 1980, as shown on the cabinet. I have many other pictures if you are interested. I was not able to open the other speaker and I didnt want to force open it. These two are matched pair (A and B). As shown one of the speaker biding posts got some repair. I guarantee these are genuine, vintage Rogers. Serial numbers are SO 109xxA and 109xxB. I covered the last two digits in the serial numbers on pictures (not on the speakers). The speakers work great, produce wonderful music as one expects. Physical condition of the cabinets is excellent for the age. One of the woofers has a small blemish on the surround (see picture). I inspected and determined there is no through hole. So, it does not affect the performance. Grills are great; no issues. I believe the original foam surrounding tweeters have deteriorated and the ones here are replacement. Thats my guess though. I have another pair of these Rogers LS3/5A (a bit later but still the same black badge). Ill pack well and ship worldwide. Please look through the pictures carefully to judge the condition accurately for yourself, I’ve tried to take close up shots of any small pieces of damage. Amazing sound quality.

Pair Of HH - H&H AM 8/12 Amplifiers For BBC Rogers LS3/5A - Studio Monitor Amp. These amplifiers are harder to find than the LS3/5a speakers which they were designed to drive. They are unique in that they were specifically designed for driving the LS3/5a and have an optional switched low-frequency boost which works to add bass below the LS3/5a’s lower frequency cut off. These amplifiers have been sitting in my loft for a few years unused, so may benefit from some contact cleaner spray on the jacks/sockets and also on the volume potentiometers. I could not find my original input cables, but have located two new Neutrik b-gauge (professional 1/4”) plugs which will work for making your new input cable. For the output speaker cable, I cut off the old cables so the plugs will need to be re-wired with your choice of speaker cable. The plugs have been left connected to the amp. I have also added a photo of the two LNE mains plugs which are also included. Just to be clear: you will need to make a small amount of effort to build your own cables. Or alternatively, I can possibly help - if you would like assistance then send me a message. For international shipping, I’ve only got one quote from DHL so far. If you can find something cheaper then message me before purchasing just to make sure it’s ok. Insurance will be purchased separately by Secursus so you can write whatever value you want on the customs invoice.

A pair of Rogers LS3/5A 15 Ohm monitor speakers. 25 watts. Low serial numbers- 657 / 658 1 owner had them from new. Good used condition. A few very minor scuffs/scratches. See photos for condition they are in perfect full working order and do sound good. They are sadly missing one Badge and 2 little binding post plastic. Rogers Speakers LS2a Vintage 100W Loud Speaker Set 8OHMS Black 2way. These speakers have been tested and are in good working order. There is some sun damage to one of the speakers as well as a little damage to the top of the other speakers please see images. If the item is used you should expect signs of use and age throughout such as scratches, marks, dust and fading.
