Lovely condition with full set of valves. All original and untested.Cosmetic: Really excellent condition, clean and rust-free and about as good as they get. The power amp is near-mint. The pre-amp/control unit has the usual tarnish on the face plate, and the three plastic switched to the bottom left on the front have broken off – the actual switch function is still fine, and this seems to be a common problem with these plastic switches. Technical: We have not tested the units, and please assume that they will need a service prior to use. Components appear good and original. Rogers Cadet III FM Tuner. Lights up when power is applied and works fine on all 3 stations, in mono. Stereo the lamp works but doesnt illuminate, may just be that the channels arent in stereo i dont know. Cosmetically in excellent condition.

Rogers Cadet II Valve Amplifier - All Original - Unrestored. Hidden away for decades. Was enclosed in a small home made wooden box which has preserved these units. Fabulous little valve Pre Power Amplifier with valves and schematics of both units. All original, untouched, will need a health check - service by a qualified engineer. There’s no burn outs on any of the transformers and all components look unchanged. Comes with valves and original papers. Fantastic cadet III amplifier In good working condition please see video.Some of the electrolytic capacitors have Been done and the big cans have been changed as you can seeFrom the photos the new caps are underneath with the big ones disconnected the only reason these were left was at some point I was going to stuff the originals.The case as some scratches and chips to the Formica finish but this shows it’s life.As with most hifi from the 60s,70s I cannot guarantee that a month or two down the road one of the valves will go Etc but iv owned this for about 4 years and used it most weeks .Reluctant sale but we’re moving and down sizing.Any questions or more photos Etc please message.Thank you
