I got this remote with a new Samsung TV that I purchased several years ago. I never used the remote but hung onto it in case I ever needed it. I recently replaced the Samsung TV that the remote came with but tested the QWERTY remote before I got rid of the TV. It works great. This remote will be shipped without batteries. And Ill include the 2 pages from the owners manual (from when they actually included paper manuals with new TVs) that refers to the functions of the QWERTY remote.
