This is in almost new condition, I used this for a few weeks while my other amp was being repaired. If you’re interested in this amp I highly suggest you google “rega brio hum” as this amp is notorious for this problem, and even with everything optimized there is a noise to be heard if you are close to the speaker - Rega knows this, but as they are notorious for following their ears, their explanation is that the amp just sounds better in a smaller chassis than a larger one, noise be damned! I have sent this amp back to Focal, who does all of Regas servicing in Canada, and made sure that everything is properly configured so you should receive the best representation of this amplifier. Weder am Gerät, noch an der Fernbedienung sind Verschmutzungen oder Kratzer vorhanden. Die Front des Verstärkers war durchgehend von der Schutzfolie bedeckt. Amazing pair of Rega RS1 speakers, with black piano finish. Two way speakers with crystal clear midrange, open airy highs. Low frequencies are clean and tight with no artificial bloat. The review hype is real. These speakers present a wide, spacious soundstage, and a sense of immediacy to the music, primarily due to very fast transient attack, these are quick speakers. You hear a lot of inner detail, which I like.Cabinets are in very good condition, including grills. Listening to Lady Be Good by George Gershwin as I write this. The measurements had already demonstrated that the RS1 has a very good bass alignment for close-to-wall siting..... Combine this with quite strong output through the upper mid and treble and the net result emphasises the speakers best features – its lively, dynamic and exciting especially with vocals and higher register instruments.
