Custom Rega RB300 tonearm. Upgrades are as follows. The paint and casting imperfections have been removed from the aluminum parts. The stem and anti skate have been reworked in aluminum. The cartridge tags are silver plated and the internal wiring is 5N pure silver litz wire is 0.55mm outer diameter. Its litz construction 7 strands and each strand is 0.1mm diameter 99.999+% Pure soft annealed silver wires in oversized PTFE Teflon insulation for a more cleaner sound. woven Teflon Litz construction is ideal to deliver RFI and EMI rejection and provides low capacitance. 99.999+% silver transmits electrical signals faster and with less distortion than ordinary OFC wires. High grade Teflon insulation gives a predominant air dielectric and is regarded as the best insulator for bare cable. The earth wire is connected near the headshell and at the stem. The earth wire is not connected to the left negative, that is standard for Rega arms. The external cable is Mogami cable, its the same cable that Linn use for the T-Kable. The RCA plugs are WBT and all the solder joints was made using WBT silver solder.

Perfect example of the iconic Rega Planer 2 fitted with a Rega RB300 tonearm and a new Rega Carbon Cartridge. Not long serviced with new capacitors fitted to motor circuit board. Main bearing cleaned and re-oiled with correct Rega oil. Original Tungsten counterbalance weight fitted to metal stud end on rear of tonearm. The dust cover could do with a polish as it has the usual rub / scratch marks on from useage over the years.

I have been lucky enough to purchase a s/hand Hadcock GH242 tonearm and so my lovely Rega RB300 arm is now up for sale here. It is in full working order and comes complete with the mounting nut and card Rega alignment guage. This is in superb cosmetic condition as I hope the pictures show, with hardly any visible sign of use. There is a very small scuff and a tiny amount of loss of paint around the edge of the 3rd cartridge bolt mounting hole which I think must have been there from new, as I have never had a cartridge fitted with the 3rd bolt hole used. I only noticed the slight paint loss when I was taking the photos for the listing so it isnt obvious, and it could easily be touched in with a black pen of some sort if you felt the need. The headshell slots themselves show vitually no signs of cartridge fitting which is rare for the Rega arms, this one has only had one cartridge body very carefully fitted and removed so you can see what superb condition it remains in. The only other point of note is a very, very slight shine mark where the armtube contacts the arm retaining clip although this really is very hard to see. I have included a number of close up photos taken in natural daylight so you can see how small any imperfections are. The arm functions exactly as it should with smooth bearings free from sticking or notching of any kind, and it has always been used and handled carefully. The armlift/lower device works smoothly and there is perfect continuity from headshell tags right through to the factory fitted RCA phono plugs. This RB300 benefits from having the tungsten counterweight, as well as the original Rega cartridge alignment guage. I do not have original Rega box/packaging but have a suitable alternative box and plenty of packaging in which to safely wrap it for UK postage. The postage price includes tracking and insurance as standard. REGA RB3000 Reference Tonearm Hand built, polished Aluminium Super high tolerance with no adhesive, just perfect interfaces between parts for low friction. Beautiful arm, very light, very stiff, stunningly smooth and almost frictionless – REGAs reference arm. REGA geometry with standard REGA 3-bolt mount, and would make a significant upgrade for anyone owning a P8 or P6. This was removed from a REGA P10 package that I bought in July 2022, so while it doesnt come with a REGA RB3000 box that you might get if you bought this from a retailer, it has been packed out with lots of air-pillows, bubble and compression wrap, and will ship in a sturdy box. Technics SL-120 Turntable Rega RB300 tonearm Wonderful Condition. Looks and operates like new. The Rega RB300 was rewired by Origin Live, it has been extended but still works perfectly. Hinges are as they should be. Lid is excellent. No marks to turntable that I can find, even still has the strobe sticker intact. Platter, beautiful, not corroded and still shiny. 45RPM adapter present. Original mat. RB300 has the expensive tungsten weight. Origin Live armboard specifically made for RB300. Feet all intact. The speed stability varies between 0.02% and 0.03% which is phenomenal performance even for a new Technics let alone a 70s model. If you want one of these turntables then I dont think its unrealistic to say that this one is about as good as Any questions please ask.

Moth/Rega RB300 tonearm Unlike other branded Rega products the Moth RB300 is a proper OEM Rega RB300. No cartridge or turntable included, just the tonearm, attached cable and the locking nut. Additional items in any photos were used to test the item only and are not part of this sale. This item is in great condition which has clearly had very few cartridges on it as the top is very clean. The white marks in the photo appear to be dust as I cant see them on the item. To test it Ive used a 3 point mount Rega cartridge to ensure I didnt add any marks. The arm lift was a little slow to start with but thats from lack of recent usage. As my testing progressed it has sped up slightly and Id expect it to do so further but not to the point of dropping like a stone.
