Radio Shack Realistic HTX-100 10 Meter Amateur Radio. I am selling some of my collection of radios. This is an excellent HTX-100 in the box with accessories that has been in storage for a while. I tested it using my Bird wattmeter and the output was an easy 35 watts on USB. All buttons and controls work. The condition is excellent, and the display is excellent with no blotches. The auction includes an original box with original microphone, original power cord, bracket with screws and accessories and manual. Some areas on the box are faded from the morning sun in my radio room. Many of the problematic capacitors were replaced a while ago. These are becoming hard to find in this great condition. Multimeter tested at a whopping 1582/1579 ohms per channel. The R1000XT is seldom seen as few were made. This one is virtually mint in cosmetics and strong in classic Shure sound. I have installed a new LP Gear 0.2x0.7 diamond elliptical Japanese made Me95ED stylus. This is the correct replacement according to the Shure.com website. Any other stylus is incorrect no matter what you read and there is very little to read about this cartridge. Designed to track at 3/4-1.5 grams. I have mounted and aligned it on a quality Technics SL-1200 reproduction headshell with new lead wires. It is completely plug and play on a properly balanced tonearm. Headshell stand not included.
