The unique linear tracking direct drive turntable from Realistic featuring the plinth mounted tonearm assembly with removeable dust cover. This unit has been play tested and is working with auto return, repeat and all tracking/cue buttons working as intended. Servicing has been performed, please see condition notes below. The original Audio Technica cartridge with a working stylus is installed, included. 45 rpm adapter is included as well. There is a crack in the dust cover on the lower left front corner - it has not separated and the cover rests in position correctly. Condition Notes:Fully tested and working, playback of a single side of 33 rpm 12 record on repeat 3 times with no issues. Speed tracking solid on both 33rpm and 45rpm. All tonearm functions working including start/stop, cue up and down and forward and reverse tonearm movement when cued up. Original cartridge and stylus working, stylus shows typical light wear, playback is acceptable for testing and verification purposes. New tonearm drive assembly belt installed, drive mechanism inspected and is working as intended. Pitch control potentionmeter cleaned with deOxit 5. Cosmetic condition - dust cover shows heavy scratching and marks, no melts or deep gouges. Front left corner has a crack that goes to lower edge, is not separating to date. Plinth and controls show minor marks, no major deep scratches, a small left in the black overlay below the pitch control. Platter mat is pliable, has not hardened. Realistic Sta 2100 Receiver 1978 Monster Superb Amp. A great example of a very rare and impressive amplifier in good condition for age The first home amplifier to put out over 100w rms and is extremely loud and punchy All leds are working and the case is in great condition Volume and balance are crackle free and no signs of worn out capacitors when it’s switched on or off, no nasty pops. Would benifit from a service as it’s over 40 years old Couple of slight issues to be aware of… Volume control know is loose and needs re-attaching/gluing back on to the potentiometer. The low pass filter button is a little dusty and has a crackle when used, that’s all I can seem to find when I’ve tested it. It’s generally in much better condition than many amps of this age. It’s looks beautiful in the dark! A quality piece of kit and an extremely rare find. Posting… It’s nearly 20kg in weight and in an ideal world it would be collected or dropped off personally but if posting is required I will pack it extremely robustly and carefully for the journey. I’m happy to post overseas but only using ebay’s global shipping program, just to cover my own back. I’ll be sending by parcel force 48hr fully insured. I’ve set what I believe is a realistic buy it now price for such a beauty but also started a low auction, in respect to all buyers or bidders once a bid has been placed I will let the auction run it’s course and take off the buy it now price.
