This is a very strong, NOS-level pair of date-matched RCA 6V6GT tubes, manufactured the ninth week of 1958. Also included is a very strong RCA 5Y3GT manufactured the same week. Perfect for your Deluxe 5E3 or other mid-century amp. These output tubes were tested on a calibrated Hickok TV-10D/U and are excellent. This tester gives the result in microMhos, with a good value (65 percent) of 2,320 mmhos. On this scale, a new (100 percent) tube would be 3,570 mMhos. These tubes test at 4,000 and 4,150 mMhos, well over 100 percent. They were also tested for shorts (none), gas (none), and passed the life test on this tester. While tester results vary from machine to machine, I stand behind the quality and accuracy of my Hickok. In addition, they were tested in a cathode-biased push pull circuit. With 270 plate volts, the dissipation per tube was 25.5 and 28ma.In addition, the 5Y3GT tests well over the good range for diodes, at about 100 percent on each side. The tubes are in excellent condition and will be packed very securely via USPS first class mail.
