Three very nice red base 5692 RCA tubes. Two check within normal values (2,600 umhos nominal), one checks lower than normal. These all displayed no shorts or leakage during testing. The two RCA tubes shown as a pair in the pics measured the following transconductance on my Hickok 800A tester: Tube 1: RCA JAN-CRC = 2,450 & 2,200 umhos Tube 2: RCA = 1,500 & 1,500 umhos NOTE: This tube did pass the life test despite its lower than average readings. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for dynamic gain and structure- test at 3375-3250, 3375-3250 where pass/fail is 1625 micromho. These tubes test at new levels for dynamic gain.
